With today’s economy the worst is has ever been since the great depression, soup kitchens scattered throughout the nation, people in ‘silicon valley’ out of work for in many cases OVER TWO YEARS, and unemployment figures skyrocketing, you had best get yourself prepared for when the shit hits the fan in this nation!

If you don’t think decent & morally upright  people will not do desperate things, just you wait until all those “NINETY-NINERS” as they are called (people on unemployment for 99 weeks) unemployment benefits RUN OUT and are not extended anymore!  See the 60 Minutes report here.

What’s next, bread lines?
Oh, but wait – there are already food distribution points that can barely fill the needs of the hungry; and skyrocketing unemployment rates that in some areas (like silicon valley) is estimated at 22%!

It’s heartbreaking to see folks that used to make “good money” out of work & eating at one of those soup kitchens, or taking free food from a food bank.  Many either have lost their home, or are on the verge of foreclosure.
Heartbreaking -yes;  BUT,  It’s also scary as hell!

A recent report on CBS’ – 60 Minutes featured Meredith Whitney, the same top economist that predicted the 2008 stock market collapse, saying that we are headed for disaster once again in LESS THAN twelve months when the municipal bonds market tanks.  She predicts AT LEAST fifty of the major municipal bonds will be in default because MANY of the major cities AND numerous states are flat broke with no means to pay their bills & retirement/pension benefits!  (Watch the whole 60 Minutes video – there are two segments with her explaining this…)

Most of the federal ‘bail-out’ money is gone; and don’t hold your breath for another round of stupidity from capital hill to continue subsidising poor financial management by all the city & state governments…    (The federal stimulus package runs out this spring.)

ALL these ‘chickens’ are going to come home to roost very soon, and as I stated earlier – when (not if) that happens, even honest people will find themselves backed into a corner with nowhere to turn other than stealing what they need in order to survive.
